“A Perfect Intro to Baja!”
My husband and I came to Todos Santos a week before a cruise on a small boat out of La Paz, and our hosts were knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. We stayed in the West Wing, and it was so comfortable and welcoming–we loved the quiet, the lovely art and furnishings, and everything we needed could be found in the kitchen. Our host gave us terrific tips on how to make the most of our week, and we did everything he said to do, and we were not disappointed. Great restaurants, amazing sunsets with turtle hatchlings, dancing on the beach at Los Cerritos, a walk to the old port–the list goes on and on! We’re already thinking about a family trip over the Christmas break….

“Immaculately clean, very quiet, and completely comfortable.”
In need of some serious relaxation and de-stressing, we decided to try a trip to Hacienda del Pacifico and Todos Santos. This was our first visit to Todos Santos, and we fell in love with both the town and our accommodations. The Pool Villa was charming, immaculately clean, very quiet, completely comfortable and we loved the veranda and pool. For a small town, Todos Santos is unexpectedly sophisticated in its restaurants, galleries and more. We loved walking down to the deserted beach (not for swimming, but great for walking, the views and the crashing surf), and on another day went to Los Cerritos beach to swim. Our on-site host was wonderful to chat with, very knowledgeable of the area, and generous with his time and information (including great tips about restaurants, local history, and where to park at Los Cerritos for free). At the same time, he was very respectful of our privacy. We came home thoroughly relaxed, suntanned and happy, and hope we can return to the La Hacienda del Pacifico as soon as possible!

“Amazing Hospitality”

This was our second stay at La Hacienda and will go again. As we remembered the place was impeccable and beautifully appointed. We love the location, a few minutes walk to the beach and sunsets, the other direction a small grocery and a great breakfast and coffee cafe.
The hosts provide boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs and blankets and more! When we stayed the first time our hosts were helpful and friendly. Our second stay our host was also over the top helpful and friendly.
I have been prompted to state “say what liked best and least” Best: everything Least: We had to come home!

“Enchanting Spot”
We loved La Hacienda. A most gracious host who met us when we arrived even though it was at night and we were late. He made sure we had everything we needed and provided a wealth of info about the area. We rented both the Pool Villa and the Upstairs Studio (my husband, and adult children 19 and 21). Both units were so charming and decorated with Mexican folk art. The patio area was a wonderful place to hang out and have coffee etc. The pool was great too, but when we were there it was a bit chilly weather and we didn’t actually get in. The location was also great, less than a half mile down a dirt road to a beautiful, quiet beach and a short drive into town for wonderful restaurants. Beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were also provided which was convenient. We loved the whole environment of the Hacienda and Todos Santos and would definitely come back again!!

What a great vacation! La Hacienda was exactly what I was looking for. The property was beautiful and the West Wing was well appointed, beautifully decorated and oh so comfortable. I loved that hammock!!! The town of Todos Santos really is magical- I could go on and on about the beaches, the food, the galleries, the people….all just delightful!! The best part of my stay however- hands down, was the exceptional service the hosts provided! They are the best! So helpful, friendly, and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!!!

“The location is perfect”
Going back to La Hacienda del Pacifico was the best decision that we made. At first we were nervous about the hurricane in September, but they quickly put our minds at ease. We decided to take our friend this time to La Hacienda and booked out the entire property private (November 3-10). Well worth the $. Everything is so clean, neat, organized, that you feel like you are renting a fancy villa in Italy! The pool is a must as it does get hot in the Baja. Our onsite host was wonderful, so attentive to our needs prior to arrival and when we arrived. He greeted us within 30 seconds of arriving at the house. He was courteous and also left us alone during our stay to enjoy our privacy. I liked that he did check on us once just to ensure that we had everything that we needed and provided some advice on where to go and what to do that perhaps we had not discovered the last time. He was the consummate host! We loved going back to the little café down the road and walking the beach to see the sunset and the sunrise! The location is perfect as it is located by a convenience store, café and garden market right around the corner from the main drag, but far enough away that you don’t hear people or traffic. Just the sounds of nature for your back ground music! We are going back in March and again in November as we can’t image going anywhere else on the Baja. In addition, Todos Santos is less than a 60 minute drive to Cabo which is great for a day outing, but too touristy to spend an entire week there. Cerritos beach is about a 15 minute drive down the highway (which is as good as any in Canada). Cerritos is a fun place to swim, boogie board and surf! On that note, they have boogie boards, umbrellas (for sun) and beach chairs that you can use. There is also the beach bar which is fab! The town of Todos Santos is quaint and has some great dining. The little piggy place on the road leading to the main strip has pork rinds/pork meat that get chopped up and scooped into a taco. Incredible! Don’t shy away from these little Mom and Pop places! As La Hacienda del Pacifico has a kitchen in both the West Wing and Pool Villa. we stopped at Costco between San Jose and Cabo to load up. You could also stop at the Mega store on the road through Cabo that leads to Todos. We love staying at this place and plan to do so for many years to come. Part of me hopes that no one else discovers it, because then it may not be available when we want it. So don’t wait to book, because we are on it for next year!

“Amazing”
Slow Down! Pull up a stool.
Our stay in your Pool Villa was Amazing . . . work for us is very hectic 6 days a week. We came down to Slow Down maybe even Stop. Cabo wasn’t the place for us and then you invited us into your little world of Utopia . . . It was exactly what we needed. You were wonderful hosts, telling us places to try, directions, even loaning us coolers (which I just realized I forgot on the porch . . . Sorry,) beach chairs and an umbrella. No there is nothing I could ask for to make our trip better. It was very hard to leave and next time we will have to have dinner together, you both are amazing people. Thank you again for everything.

Everything exceeded our expectations. Prior to our arrival, Our host was very prompt and courteous in dealing with our various questions and schedule changes. The town is loaded with galleries, shops and restaurants and our host provided spot-on recommendations. The neighborhood around La Hacienda has everything you need (markets, restaurants) and the mighty Pacific is just a short walk away. La Hacienda is a beautiful property and the guest villas are well-appointed and very comfortable. We appreciated that they provided beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella and cooler.

Our experience far exceeded our expectations! From the moment that we inquired about the property, to a phone call or two with the owner prior to our arrival to the day that we were welcomed at La Hacienda del Pacifico, we were impressed. The homemade banana bread and Christmas decorations (to remember our trip) was such a warm touch. They also made some personal concessions for us which we appreciated. We rented the entire property for privacy and it was well worth the money! We were much closer to the “main drag” than we thought, yet far enough away that you only hear the birds. It was so nice to retreat back to La Hacienda after a day out and about. The drive to the downtown is about 4 minutes! The walk to the beach was about 10. The west wing and pool house along with the guest suite are perfect for 3 couples if you want to travel with friends or private enough to just rent one of them as a single or couple. The beds are super comfy! The West Wing and Pool Villa have everything that you need including salt/pepper/sugar. You really only need to buy food, unless you want to dine out. There are lots of places to eat in town. There is a great corner cafe a 10 minute walk up the road en route to town, or a 2 minute drive. We only discovered it 2 days before we left. We borrowed the umbrella and beach chairs which came in handy. We felt very safe the entire time at the property and in Todos los Santos. We travel a fair bit and also come from the hotel business in a luxury brand, so we know first hand the importance of anticipating guest’s needs and exceeding expectations! We are planning our trip back in November and will stay at “La Hacienda”!! Thanks for your hospitality, humor and candid approach to your business. You have created a new home away for home for us.

“Satisfied my soul”
Just the perfect location to reboot life. We spent a night in Cabo – and while we had a blast, we could not get away from the crowds fast enough. Todos Santos has all amenities needed (good restaurants, gift shops, etc.) to make for a good vacation – but the best part is the serenity we found. La Hacienda could not have been more perfect – They are welcoming and gracious hosts. Our room was beautiful, had everything we needed, and the bed/sheets were very comfortable. The property is so charming and lends itself to a very relaxed vibe. Beach is a few minutes walk, was postcard worthy and virtually empty. This is where you want to stay when you need a time out from life. Peace, beauty and charm surround you and it is virtually impossible not to find true contentment.

La Hacienda was the perfect place to spend a few days “recovering” after travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks. We stayed in The West Wing and were delighted with it. The decor is beautiful and it’s very comfortable. Loved the private patio (we ate breakfast there each morning) and I enjoyed lazing in the hammock at the end of the day. The location is wonderful, close to town but only a 10 minute walk to a beautiful, deserted beach. There are beach chairs and an umbrella at La Hacienda. Also a close walk to the grocery store and to La Esquina, a fabulous breakfast/lunch restaurant. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Thanks for the restaurant recommendations and the delicious banana bread. Thank you both.

““Quiet, cool oasis minutes from town and great beaches””
We stayed in the Pool Villa for one week and loved it. On the hottest day the Pool Villa remains cool and breezy. We took lovely naps listening to the trickling water coming from the pool’s sweet little waterfalls. The kitchen is well stocked. We needed a blender, which they did get us when there wasn’t one in the kitchen. The architecture of the home, pool area and villas is gorgeous! We loved the lit dome in the shower that easily fit two. The CalKing bed is high-end and very comfy. The beach chairs, coolers, beach umbrella, boogie boards and kites for guest use got used and appreciated every day! La Hacienda is on a quaint dirt road that dead-ends at the beach further down the road. There are other lovely homes on the street and also farms, with a poblano pepper field across the street. Retirees and locals all wave and are friendly. At the end of the street is a beach for beautiful secluded walks and sunsets that amaze. The swimming beach is 6 miles south of Todos Santos just passed the town of Pescadero and is well-signed at Cerritos Beach. Park in the fenced area for $9 per day and don’t risk the free parking on the beach. Our trunk lock was broken by someone trying to break in when we parked in the free area our first day at the beach, For $9 you want someone watching your car. We were lucky and were directed to the local locksmith working out of a shack behind the Pemex station who reopened and fixed our trunk lock for under $10. Todos Santos is very safe and friendly, but just like anywhere think twice before parking with valuables in the car left alone. Don’t miss Baja Beans on your way to Cerritos Beach in Pescadero. We long the hustle and bustle and heat of Todos and Baja in general but at the end of the day a quiet, cool, calm oasis of breezes and water sounds is lovely and that is what you get at La Hacienda. There were several nights that night air was so quiet I could hear the surf. La Hacienda is a great value!

“Beautiful, secluded apartment in a courtyard, easy beach & town walk”

The Pool Villa is pretty, quiet, secluded in a courtyard, and quite comfortable. The place is ready to be a base for fun around Baja, or you can just relax by the pool. All the housekeeping things are there, market close by, and it’s close to town and a beautiful (not swimmable) beach. Separate entry from the owners’ house, gated parking feet away and really friendly hosts.

“Excellent Place to Stay in Todos Santos”
We stayed in the Pool Villa for a week. It was great to be close enough to town to go out to dinner, but also have a kitchen, and plenty of room to relax. Lots of tourists come up to Todos Santos for the day from Cabo, but it was the weekend and a great place to stay for a few days. There are lots of good restaurants and galleries to check out, while avoiding the crowds and overpriced eateries of Cabo. It’s also only about a ten-minute drive to Los Cerritos, which is the best beach for surfing, boogie boarding, getting a massage. Gracious hosts and the property is very clean and well-maintained. There was another group staying on the property while we were there, but it still felt very private and comfortable. The Pool Villa has its own kitchen, a huge, comfortable bed, and amazing shower. It also has its own covered patio, with dinette table and chaise lounge. It is also a short walk up to Pino’s Market, which has all kinds of provisions, and La Esquina, a yummy brunch spot. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for something quiet and off the beaten track, but with easy access to restaurants, shops, the beach, etc.

“extremely comfortable”
The hosts made sure our stay at La Hacienda was extremely comfortable. The Pool Villa is well furnished, private, and includes a full kitchen for those (rare) times when you want to cook rather then eat any any number of the local restaurants. There is secure parking on-site, and they lent us beach chairs and an umbrella for our numerous trips to the coast (<10 minute walk from La Hacienda). The next time I travel to Todos Santos, I will absolutely be staying at La Hacienda.

“an ideal oasis for a vacation”
My family’s stay at the property was fantastic. The place is absolutely beautiful (his wife is an artist and it shows in how they have designed the units and the garden), well maintained and an ideal oasis for a vacation. Some logistics: there is free and fast wifi in each unit; the property is walking distance to the beach and downtown Todos Santos (about 10-15 min); each unit is well stocked and every bed (as each family member reported) is very comfortable. the hosts are super sweet and ready to answer any questions you might have. If you are looking for a clean and lovely place to stay outside of town, I highly recommend La Hacienda Del Pacifico.

My wife and I spent Easter week in the West Wing. We had everything we needed for a week of decompression and relaxation. They were gracious hosts. You would be best off to have a car, as it’s a bit of a walk into town. If you time your visit right, you can participate in the Sea Turtle hatchling release. It’s really cool. It is a clean and comfortable place and we would gladly stay there again!

If your looking for a beautiful private place in Todos Santo it is La Hacienda! Our hosts were delightful, they have a fantastic property and have paid attention to every detail of their property right down to the fresh Banana bread on our arrival. The place is neat and clean and the decorating is wonderful, photos don’t do it justice. The private patio is so nice to sit and read or have your coffee in the morning or lie in the hammock. Landscaping and swimming pool is beautiful and to me this was better than a 5 star hotel.
Close to town and a short walk to the beach. Nice grocery store close to the property and a nice place to eat down the road. Todos Santos is a wonderful place to visit. You won’t be disappointed with your stay here. We will be back.

“This was an amazing find”
Loved everything about this place and the owners. We stayed in December and had a lovely time. Every detail was attended to. It was more than comfortable, very tastefully decorated, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, reasonably priced and a wonderful location. Without question, if we return to Todos Santos this would be our choice rental.

“Private, Quaint, and Perfect!”

This is a little jewel in the middle of Todos Santos. We stayed in the Pool Villa and it was wonderful! It is essentially brand new, but has a wonderful “been there forever” charm and at the same time it is a little modern – so cool! Everything is well kept and very clean, comfortable and private with all the amenities you would find at home. With the Pool Villa being in the shade most of the day and the wonderful tall ceilings and ceiling fans made it completely comfortable. The owners are lovely and accommodating to anything you might need. AND, the beach is literally a 3 minute drive (7-10 min walk) down from their street and it is gorgeous! White sands with almost no one on it, except for a Sea Turtle conservatory where you can release baby sea turtles when you donate to their conservation – very cool to do. If you are looking for somewhere VERY nice and affordable ~ you absolutely cannot beat this place!

“Best place to stay!”
Our stay (my husband and I) was absolutely WONDERFUL! The hosts made our stay feel as comfortable as being at home. Comfy bed, very clean, plenty of kitchen items to prepare meals if you choose to stay in. We would not have changed a thing about our stay. Not only was there delicious banana bread, but also great conversation and good advise of all things Todos Santos. We will be returning, no doubt! You can’t go wrong staying here!

My girlfriend and I stayed at La Hacienda for 1 week, this facility is just wonderful, it makes you feel you are in paradise, very private and relaxed, everything you need is provided to feel you are home. Highly recommend it. We did not rent a car as we prefer to walk, it took us 15 minutes brisk walk to get to town, and we never made it to the beach as we were busy in town, but it is very close.

“Perfection!”
We joined our friends and rented two of the guest quarters “The West Wing” and “The Upstairs Studio”… we could not have been more pleased with the lodging and with our hostess and host. The place was spotless and beautifully appointed. They filled us in on the highlights of Todos Santos and pointed in the right direction to the things we were most interested in. We found walking to the beach and to town easy and pleasant and watched the sunset each evening from the beach just down the lane. A special thank you for loaning the boogie boards and beach gear, above and beyond any expectation and did I mention the banana bread that was waiting for us upon a late evening arrival. We will be going back and in fact our friends have already planned their return. We fell in love with Todos Santos due in no small part to our amazing lodgings! Thank you!

My husband and I stayed here for 9 days in the West Wing quarters. I have never felt so comfortable and welcomed anywhere. The casita is clean, well appointed, and perfect for a short stroll to the beach. We had the entire property to ourselves and enjoyed every minute of it! The owners are some of the warmest and considerate people ever. One day, she baked banana nut bread and shared a plate of it with us…talk about feeling like home. Every morning outside of the kitchen window I had a little hummingbird that would visit me while I made breakfast. If you ever have the opportunity to stay here, TAKE IT!! We will definitely be back. “Perfect Todos Villa”
Truly fantastic accommodations for getting the most out of Todos Santos. Walking distance to beach, town, great breakfast spot, and grocer. But what a beautiful setting. Private villa feel, tastefully decorated, and our every need catered to by the incredibly nice owners. We went as two couples, I was in the West Wing and my friends in the Upstairs Studio. We checked out the Pool Villa as well – gorgeous. New dipping pool is just perfect for hanging out. The owners lent us beach gear, gave us tips on dining, shopping, exploring. Ridiculous value too. We’ll be back for sure.

Tecolote was just the taste of the Sea of Cortez I craved. I’ll be back with my family.
